Dale has spent three decades at the intersection of technology, leadership, and trust. His work has spanned enterprise architecture, cloud transformation, AI operations, and the governance frameworks that make autonomous systems trustworthy. He designed enterprise AI operating models for organizations at massive scale — and learned what actually works versus what looks good in a board deck.

Bears & Mosquitoes introduces Trusted Living Agents — a practical, plain-language approach to AI trust written for the person who just became a builder: the analyst, manager, teacher, or founder shipping AI's work under their own name, no code required. The central metaphor: while everyone spent years defending against the obvious threats (the bears), the real risks crept in quietly (the mosquitoes) — agents acting on their own, under your name, with nobody checking their work.
